Michael On The Inside Looking Out

Michael Jackson was never able to live a normal everyday life like the rest of us. There was always something he had to do since he was little, weather it was rehearsing, photo shoots, traveling, or shows, So for people to sit around and judge him and act like he is wrong for having a different way of thinking and different views on life , is just not right. The more I think about it, it’s not him that’s wrong, it’s the people that are wrong for not allowing him to live the normal life that he wanted to live. Every time he would try to go to the grocery store, walk down the street, or go to the movies he would get swamped with paparazzi and fans and couldn’t do those things. So I think everyone should look at it from that perspective. It’s not that Michael didn’t live a normal life, It’s that the world didn’t give him a chance to. Then they would go and judge him for it, as if he had another choice. I couldn’t imagine always being stuck inside of a hotel room or in my home under constant security and very little personal space. It seemed to me like Michael always had to be on the inside looking out at the world, and was never able to really experience it for what it was. Whenever he would meet a stranger he could never really get to know them because they would change when they realized it was Michael Jackson, they would just give him complements about his music and dancing and Michael could never get to know their real personalities.

Im sure that must have made Michael feel very lonely inside, I think that he just wanted to have at least one true friend that didn’t see him as Michael the Entertainer, but as Michael the person. With Michael’s fame he was able to experience a lot of things that other everyday people do not, such as traveling to different countries and meeting a lot of different types of people but in return he couldn’t walk on the beach, or relax on a bench at the park. I think Michael wanted to fit in and be like everybody else, and since he couldn’t he had to create a life behind his gates at Neverland. Although Neverland helped a little at easing the pain of not being able to go out, I could still sense that it wasn’t enough , and that it would never be enough until he could really be able to experience the real thing. I think he had so much sadness because he knew all along that he would really never be able to. For all of the Non-MJ fans, just try to take a moment and put yourself in his shoes, especially if you’re a really outgoing and social person, could you imagine having to be stuck inside your home 24/7 and not being able to walk down the street?? If you think of it in that way, you can be able to sense why MJ was so sad and also why he created Neverland as an escape. For the fans Im sure MJ loved and appreciated your enthusiasm when you would see him public !! Lol
